Beautiful restaurant with good food. We dined on a Sunday evening and were among the first guests, so the atmosphere was calm and pleasant. I was excited to see they had several risotto options, but disappointed to learn that all of them were cooked in chicken broth, leaving me with only pasta or pizza as true vegetarian choices. Fortunately, both the pasta and pizza we ordered were flavorful. We were also excited to see eggplant parmesan listed as a vegetarian option, but were told it had run out the day before, which added to the disappointment. The food overall was fresh and good quality, though some dishes could use a bit more seasoning for added flavor. The service, however, felt rushed. Servers repeatedly tried to clear plates even while we were still using them, and it happened enough times that we had to ask them to slow down. The ambiance was lovely and made for easy conversation. The only other downside is the tight parking lot, so on a busy night you may need to look for parking nearby.

First time here and was incredibly impressed. Food - amazing, fresh, high quality. Service - fantastic, Gustavo was stellar! He took great care of us! Ambiance was exactly how I like, people talking, cozy and intimate, dim lighting. Great vibe! Not somewhere that is over the top trying to be extra. Quality restaurant and will be back! We ordered the margharita pizza and added spicy salami to half of it- it was so fresh, best thin and crispy pizza I’ve had in Houston. Then ordered 2 entrees off the specials menu, a veal entree and a burrata ravioli dish. Loved them both!! For dessert we got the doughnuts with a side of vanilla ice cream - amazing. Will be back asap!

The bruschetta with roasted peppers was great as the bread was crunchy and ricotta was creamy. The red wine risotto was not for me as it was too sharp and sour for my liking. But if you like the red wine taste then go for it. The pheasant papardalle pasta is great with the mushrooms and cheese. The place is so cozy and definitely recommend

Vinoteca Piscol is probably the first restaurant that feels like home to me in Houston. It's a homely vibe that's really welcoming and enjoyable, whether you're on a date or with a group of friends, the atmosphere is impeccable. The staff is friendly and willing to walk you through any of the items on the menu and what makes them unique. They have rotating specials and the staff gives a great run down of what you get. They also did a great job at keeping water full, bringing new plates/utensils for the different items we ate, and they never lingered around bothering you if the food is good or not, they already know. Honestly the perfect staff experience. The food was great. We started with a farro salad, had a great touch of vinaigrette with very fresh tomatoes and the sweetest beets I've ever had. Salads never really interest me because they tend to be boring and repetitive, but this salad really stood out in both flavor and freshness. We were able to comfortably split it between two people as a small starter, so even the portions were rather generous. For our main course we decided to try one of their seasonal pizzas, I unfortunately cannot remember the name, but it had a special type of pork, tomatoes, and veggies (check the picture). The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, but was surprisingly buttery, which you wouldn't expect looking from it. The meat and veggies complimented the cheese perfectly with no overbearing flavors, and the roasted tomatoes practically melted in your mouth. We split this pizza between two people, it was honestly the perfect serving size. Finally we got the creme brulee tiramisu. Y'all just need to try this. Perfectly crisped top with a sweet and fluffy coffee flavored cake mixed with the filling was to die for. We honestly debated taking a second one home. Our whole order was like $48 before tip, which felt like an absolute steal compared other stuff I've had in the area. We will definitely be back to try more of their menu and would 100% recommend everyone to visit Vinoteca Poscol.

Good spot. We did takeout and enjoyed all items except the pizza but that’s bc it didn’t takeout well but we could tell it would’ve tasted good at the restaurant. We got the following, with asterisks to indicate what we’d get again: - Margherita: tomato, basil & house made mozzarella - Mushroom & Reggiano Risotto* - Tagliolino Cacio e Pepe* - Swiss Chard & Ricotta Ravioli, Brown Butter & Parmigiano*

We were looking for an Italian cuisine place while visiting Houston from Dallas, and Vinoteca caught our attention. We decided to try it, and we were amazed! We had reservations for 8:45 and booked through the Resy app; however, we were in the area earlier, and I called, and they were able to accommodate us for an earlier reservation. Parking was found beside the restaurant. The service was excellent from start to finish. I took my wife here to celebrate her birthday, and they also provided a small treat upon my request. The food itself was delicious; the fungi pasta and Roman pizzas were mouthwatering. Definitely one of my favourite Italian spots in Texas. Would love to visit again next time in Houston.

The food and atmosphere reminded us of our wedding in Italy! Gustavo was an amazing help at guiding us in our wine and food selections. Highly recommend this spot if you wanna feel like you are in the Tuscan hills of Italy, eating generational recipes with family.

Fantastic service, amazing food (the closest authentic Italian we’ve have since visiting Italy) and a very chill atmosphere. Two thumbs up
